We also discuss the growing excuse that Texas state lawmakers are using to avoid talking about using the historic budget surplus being used for property tax relief in a spending limit and the potential for expanded gambling in Texas this session. We also discuss the opportunity potentially afforded to fiscal conservatives ahead of the upcoming debt ceiling “fight” in Congress.
